The LSUS Clery Map defines Clery geography for the main campus. The Department of Education mandates these specific properties as Clery geography. The following highlighted areas distinguish our Clery geography for reporting and notifications.

  • On Campus: These properties highlighted in Dark Purple represent LSUS owned or controlled campus buildings, streets and property
  • Student Resident Facilities: These properties are highlighted in Black – this subset of on-campus property represents student housing
  • Public Property: These properties are public or city-owned property immediately adjacent to or run through (touch) LSUS owned or controlled property – only the areas highlighted or labeled in Grey are categorized as Clery defined public property
  • Noncampus: The noncampus properties are not pictured on the map. Noncampus property are areas the university owns or controls, is frequented by students, but is not within the area of our “main campus”. These properties also include properties owned by a registered or recognized student organization that is within our campus boundary.

The Dark Yellow section is the main campus area and the Light Yellow Area is our entire jurisdiction. For questions about LSUS Clery geography or reporting areas, please do not hesitate to reach out to cleryact@lsus.edu.

*Any property within the Clery map not highlighted in the aforementioned colors is not considered Clery geography for reporting or notification.
