Louisiana State University in Shreveport has taken the following measures to ensure accessibility of the LSUS Website:

- Assigned clear accessibility goals and responsibilities among faculty and staff.
- Employed formal accessibility quality assurance methods and utilized monitoring tools to continuously improve overall compliance.
Conformance status
The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) defines requirements for designers and developers to improve accessibility for people with disabilities. It defines three levels of conformance: Level A, Level AA, and Level AAA.
The LSUS Website is partially conformant with WCAG 2.1 level AA. Partially conformant means that some parts of the content do not fully conform to the accessibility standard.
Progress toward full compliance
Web accessibility compliance is an ongoing process with no finite conclusion. The LSUS Website is continuously being improved upon to ensure equal access for all.
Louisiana State University in Shreveport is taking the following steps to improve overall accessibility of the LSUS Website:
- Auditing documents to be uploaded on the LSUS Website for accessibility.
- Improving structure of web pages on the LSUS Website to improve usability, navigability, and readability.
- Improving compatibility of the LSUS Website with other digital formats, such as mobile devices.

- Creating and compiling trainings and other accessibility resources for faculty and staff to increase campus-wide knowledge and understanding of accessibility best practices.

- Mobile devices: Web pages and other assets on the LSUS Website may not be fully compatible with all mobile devices. Louisiana State University in Shreveport continues to work with the content management software (CMS) provider to ensure mobile compatibility across various devices and build mobile-first web pages.
