In order to become a CPA, an individual must pass the Uniform Certified Public Accountant (CPA) Examination. The LSUS School of Business offers the courses required to sit for the CPA exam. In order to meet the 150 credit hours requirement, many students consider completing both a Bachelor's degree and an MBA. The CMA exam is administered by the Institute of Management Accountants. One step to becoming a CMA is to obtain a Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university.
