Biography

Rebecca A. Bogie, DBA, CMA is an Instructor in the College of Business at Louisiana State University-Shreveport (LSUS). Prior to joining LSUS full-time in 2020, Dr. Bogie taught accounting, ethics, and management online as an adjunct for the University of Dallas as well as LSUS while working in corporate financial planning and analysis (FP&A).

In her corporate career, Dr. Bogie led FP&A activities and teams for global firms such as RGP (consulting at Toyota Motor North America), MoneyGram International, Xerox HR Solutions, Deloitte Consulting/Services, and Kraft Foods. Her early career focus was outsourced human resources where she gained experience in employee benefits management, payroll, and general workforce support services.

Dr. Bogie's research interests include managerial accounting, corporate governance, ethics, and strategy.

Teaching Assignments

Courses taught include Introductory Financial, Introductory Managerial, and Cost Accounting at the undergraduate level as well as Accounting Fundamentals at the graduate level.
