Research Interests

My overarching research agenda centers on investigating the intersection of social determinants of health (SDOH), mental health and women's health issues, with a specific focus on identifying structural inequities that drive disparities in depression and anxiety disorders across the life course. I am particularly interested in how socioeconomic status, systemic discrimination, neighborhood environment, and gender-based disparities impact psychological well-being.
