SHREVEPORT, LA. - LSUS Men’s Soccer’s Abdoul Karim Pare has been named the Red River Athletic Conference Offensive Player of the Week for the second time this season, announced by the conference office on Monday.

Karim Pare had a week to remember for the Pilots. Against LSUA, he finished with two shots, both of which were on goal. Two days later, Karim Pare had a match to remember. He scored three goals and finished with an assist against Louisiana College in the Pilots' 5-1 win over the Wildcats. It was the first hat trick of the season for any Pilot as Karim Pare upped his season goal total to eight.

“Karim has proven to be a handful for opposing teams this season and Saturday was another example of that,” said LSUS Head Coach Phillip Bohn. “Anytime you have individual recognition, it usually means that the team had great success. The boys shared the ball very well and Karim was rewarded for his unselfish play and good finishing.”

The Pilots will be back in action on Wednesday, October 14th as they welcome Georgia Gwinnett to The Swamp. The match is set to begin at 3:00 p.m. CT from Shreveport, Louisiana.
