Biography
As a Transfer Success Specialist and Academic Advisor at LSUS, I have the privilege of guiding students through one of the most important transitions in their academic journey by finding their place and purpose at a new university. Whether you're navigating transfer credits, choosing a major, or adjusting to campus life, my goal is to make that process smoother, more informed, and empowering.
In addition to my advising role, I also serve as a First Year Seminar Instructor, where I work directly with first-year students to help them build a strong foundation for academic and personal success. Through this course, I strive to create a welcoming space where students can gain confidence, develop key skills, and connect with the LSUS community from day one.
I have also had the honor of serving as the Facilitator for the Nursing Program, working closely with students pursuing careers in nursing. Supporting future healthcare professionals through such a demanding and rewarding path allows me to offer guidance that is both practical and compassionate.
As an LSUS alum, I co-founded Sigma Phi Iota, a student organization focused on promoting leadership, academic excellence, and a sense of community on campus. Today, I continue to support our student body by being one of the advisors of our First Gen organizations, Tri-Alpha and First Gen Leaders, a role that is especially meaningful to me as a proud first-generation college graduate myself. My own experiences help shape my student-centered advising philosophy: meet students where they are, advocate for their needs, and empower them to define success on their own terms.
Whether you're a transfer student finding your way, a first-year student building your foundation, or someone in need of support along the journey, I’m here to help you thrive at LSUS.
