- My goal is to become a Licensed Marriage and Family Counselor who empowers individuals, couples, and families to overcome personal and relational challenges through compassionate, evidence-based care.
Why you became a peer leader / What you hope to contribute:
- I became a peer leader because I believe in the power of support, shared experience, and community. Having navigated the challenges of being both a student and an athlete, I understand how overwhelming college life can be. I wanted to use my experiences to guide and uplift others who might be facing similar pressures—whether academic, personal, or social. My goal as a peer leader is to create a safe and encouraging space where students feel heard, valued, and motivated to succeed.
Favorite campus resource or tip for new students:
- Ask for Help Early – Whether you’re struggling emotionally or academically, speak up sooner than later.
- Practice Time Management – Balance is key.
- Don’t overload yourself; break your day into focused.
- Get Involved – Join clubs, sports, or organizations. It’s one of the best ways to make friends and feel connected.
