Etta "E.D." Stewart

Biography

E.D. Stewart joined the advising team at LSUS in Fall 2025, and their journey here was by no means a straight line.

After earning their Bachelors in Education with a specialization in Studio Art, E.D. taught for while through public education and private instruction, before deciding to branch out to other service-oriented positions in several different industries giving them a wide variety of experience to bring to the table.

These experiences included various sales positions, working as a certified armorer for the United States Fencing Association, audio engineering, handling of integral duties with the Downtown Development Authority in Shreveport, as well as returning to customer service based positions time and time again.

They now serve as academic advisor for the LSUS College of Business, assisting undergraduate students in their path to obtaining their degree.

Beyond their professional role, E.D. enjoys gaming, traveling for concerts, Dungeons & Dragons, creating art both physical and digital, and culinary adventures.

Degrees
