Biography
Christopher Miles holds both a Bachelor of Arts in English (2019) and a Master of Arts (2023) from Louisiana State University Shreveport. He began his professional journey in higher education in 2019 as Administrative Assistant for the Department of English and Foreign Languages. In 2020, he took on the role of Academic Advisor for the College of Arts & Sciences, where he supported undergraduate students through their first 60 credit hours. He currently serves as Transfer Success Specialist, since 2024, providing academic advising and transition support for all incoming undergraduate transfer students at LSUS.
In addition to his work in advising, Mr. Miles teaches First Year Seminar and English Composition. He is especially passionate about helping students build strong foundations for academic success and personal growth during their early college experiences.
Beyond his professional roles, Mr. Miles enjoys reading, writing, painting, spending time outdoors, and playing tennis. He loves conversing and is endlessly fascinated by the extraordinary stories of everyday people.
