Biography
Caitlin LeBlanc earned a bachelor’s degree in English from LSU Shreveport in 2014, where a love for storytelling first took root. This passion led to a role in 2015 with a local software company as a marketing journalist, where she specialized in interviewing customers and turning their experiences into compelling articles and social content. Over time, the position expanded into consumer education, sparking Caitlin's interest in technical writing.
In 2019, Caitlin returned to LSU Shreveport, initially serving in the IT Department and Online Learning, where technical communication skills were put to work supporting students and faculty. Before long, a new opportunity in Media & Public Relations emerged that perfectly blended her background in writing and storytelling. Today, she helps share the story of LSUS through social media, highlighting the university’s dedicated employees, accomplished students, and vibrant history. Caitlin relishes connecting with audiences through engaging, and authentic messaging.
Outside the office, Caitlin enjoys kayaking on Lake Bistineau, tackling ambitious annual reading goals, and hosting competitive board game nights with friends. She continues to find new ways to combine a love for language with a commitment to building community through storytelling.
