Biography

Dr. Cooper is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Education. She received her Doctor of Education degree from Northeastern University in 2014. She is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst, Licensed Behavior Analyst in Louisiana, and a state certified educator in the areas of leadership, special education, and literacy. Dr. Cooper teaches foundational education and special education courses in the undergraduate program and educational leadership, special education, applied behavior analysis, and literacy courses in the graduate program.

Dr. Cooper's research focuses on applied behavior analysis in school settings, Response to Intervention, and Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports.
