Allee has an MA in English with a TESOL focus from Arkansas Tech University and a BA double major in English and rhetoric and writing with a creative writing minor and an AA in English from the University of Arkansas - Fort Smith. They have been teaching at LSUS since the fall of 2015.
They are an author, poet, private tutor, and independent researcher. They enjoy reading and writing but equally enjoy gaming--both digital and analog--and nature walks. With support and input from their partner--an accomplished home chef who also happens to use his BS and MS in Electrical Engineering from UTD for his successful career--they homeschool four children and proudly support one kid's public school endeavors, often interrupted by the meows of the three family cats.
Full of curiosity and wanderlust, the family divides their time between an open-concept tiny home in the piney woods of East Texas (not far from the Louisiana border), various hotels and campgrounds across the countryside, and a modest two-story house in the suburbs of the Dallas–Fort Worth metroplex.
