As a beginning transfer student, it is important to become familiar with LSUS policies, procedures, resources and opportunities that are different from your previous college/university. We are committed to assist in making the transition as smooth as possible.

For your convenience, we are offering Virtual Transfer Orientation (VTO) specifically for you, the transfer student, to familiarize you with the most important information to ease your transition into LSUS. VTO allows you to complete the orientation process at a time and location of your choosing, avoiding the inconvenience and time involved in coming to campus for an on-campus program.

Once you have completed VTO, you will be given directions for academic advising which is required of all incoming students. After the advising process is complete, you will be able to register for your courses online beginning November 6.

To log-on to VTO, please use your Social Security Number as your student ID. It is important that your Social Security Number is used, so that your admission file can be processed efficiently. Using any other number will not only delay the processing of your admissions file but also delay your advising. Click here to begin.

Please note: If you are attending LSUS for one term only, you are not required to complete VTO. You may contact the Dean's office associated with your major. If you are unsure who to call, call us and we will help direct you (797-5365 or 797-5061).

Also note: If you previously appled for admission to LSUS, but were unable to attend at that time, please contact Admissions and Records Office immediately so that your records can be updated and you can be cleared for orientation and registration.
