LSUS Testing Center Policies and Procedures

Testers must present a valid ID to testing personnel. Lockers are provided to testers for personal items upon entering the testing center. No electronic devices are permited into the testing center. No paper, calculators, or rulers of any kind are permited in the testing center. Scratch paper and pencils will be provided to testers. All scratch paper must be turned in prior to exiting the testing center. Calculators and highlighters are integrated into applicable testing software. Only testers are permited into the testing center; staff cannot be responsible for patrons who require supervision. Testers should only exit the testing center for allowed breaks (restroom breaks are provided). The testing center is under surveillance; any appearance of testing misconduct will be properly investigated.

ACCUPLACER

ACCUPLACER is an integrated system of computer-adaptive tests designed to evaluate students’ skills in reading, writing, and mathematics.

ACT ON-CAMPUS

An ACT On-Campus™ test is an alternative to the ACT® test that enables colleges to proctor and immediately self-score an ACT test form any day of the week on their campus. Results of this unique offering can provide insight into a student’s achievement level. ACT On-Campus results may be used only at the college that administers the exam. Score results are not transferable to other institutions.

Earn College Credit

CLEP EXAM

The College-Level Examination Program® (CLEP) helps you receive college credit for what you already know. CLEP offers 34 exams that cover introductory level college course material. With a passing score on one CLEP exam, you could earn three or more college credits at 2,900 U.S. colleges and universities.

Proctoring

ONSITE PROCTORING SERVICES

Are you in need of a secure, distraction-free location to complete a written exam or a computer-based exam and need reliable computing power and internet bandwidth? If so, the LSUS Testing Center may be of service to you.

Fees

All fees must be paid 48HRS prior to the scheduled test or proctoring service. Once the request for information form has been completed, a testing coordinator will contact prospective testers. Testers who wish to pay via Debit/Credit Card will be provided a payment link via email. Onsite cash payments are also accepted.

Testing Center Refund Policy

Testing and proctoring service fees are NON-REFUNDABLE. Rescheduling will be allowed only once and must be requested ONE business day before the scheduled test or proctoring service.
