The Master of Business Administration degree is an advanced business degree that prepares students for managerial positions. The program is a balance of quantitative and non-quantitative courses and is designed to meet the professional education needs of individuals who hold either business or non-business undergraduate degrees.
For students with little or no undergraduate coursework in business, 30 semester hours of foundation courses will develop the business background needed for the advanced graduate courses. The graduate-level part of the MBA program consists of eight required courses and two electives (a total of 30 semester hours). Students may select courses in a specific area: finance, accounting, real estate, health care management, marketing, or international business.
