Message from the Chancellor:
The students, faculty and staff welcome you to Louisiana State University in Shreveport. Our faculties are committed to excellence in teaching, research and service to our students and the community we serve. With a low student/teacher ratio and the highest percent of doctoral qualified faculty in the state, LSUS offers a unique experience providing you with small classroom settings that allow you to experience personal attention from our dedicated faculty.

LSUS utilizes the most advanced instructional technologies and is far ahead of other universities in providing students free e-mail and access to over 20 computer labs including a campus-wide lab with flexible hours to meet the needs of our diverse student population.
