2021 Annual Enrollment
Annual Enrollment is the time of year when employees can make changes to their insurance plans. Annual enrollment begins on Thursday, October 1st and ends on November 15th. Plan changes are effective January 1, 2021. Employees will receive a Workday event on October 1. Employees are responsible for reviewing their Workday Open Enrollment event to make sure coverage is correct. This is especially important for new hires and employees who have recently experienced a qualifying event. Tip: Log on to Workday, go to the Benefits worklet and print out a summary of your current insurance before you complete the Workday Open Enrollment event. Even if you are not making any changes, it is important to complete this step. As a reminder, employees who would like to enroll in flexible spending must do so each calendar year. Employees currently contributing to the Pelican HSA 775 must make a new hsa election for the 2021 plan year.
