WORKSHOP: The Science of Codependency
11:00am - 11:45am
Codependency is generally seen as a set of maladaptive patterns in relating to others - focusing on their needs and emotions to the detriment of our own. But seeing codependency as a set of behaviors means that we tend to think that changing our behaviors is the solution. However, research finds that there may be a neurobiological piece to codependency that we need to pay attention to. Join us to find out the biological impacts and ways to change and improve awareness of our own emotional experiences in how we relate to others.
