LSUS to host annual Student Scholars Forum

(February 17, 2017 - 9 am to 4 pm) 

On Friday, February 17, 2017, Louisiana State University Shreveport will host the second annual Student Scholars Forum. This is a multidisciplinary forum with registered participants from nine universities (LSUS, University of Louisiana Monroe, Northwestern State University, University of New Orleans, McNeese, Tulane, Loyola University New Orleans, Nicholls State University, and University of Mississippi). The program will consist of 24 undergraduate and graduate student presentations and 35 student posters profiling scholarly work across the academic disciplines. The plenary speaker will be Dr. Cran Lucas, Professor of Biological Sciences, with his presentation “Science in Science Fiction” (11:45, University Center Theater). The LSUS Student Scholars Forum is supported by the Noel Foundation. The forum is free to participants and attendees.
