Come Back to Campus

WOW! Can you believe 50 years have passed since YOUR ALMA MATER first opened its doors in 1967? And, it's been 40 years since your Alumni Association was founded in 1977. Today, we are still working hard to keep you connected and to give back to the University that gave us all so much.

Whether you're one of the first students to attend when there were only two buildings in the middle of a vast, treeless property, or you've recently graduated amid the beautiful gardens, oak alleys and new construction, LSUS is home.

You're invited to Come Back To Campus for any and all of the 50th Anniversary events we have planned. Please check them out and be our guests! Bring your friends!

SAVE THE Date for three new events. ALL ALUMNI are welcome.
September 30 - Come Back To Campus for a Family-Friendly Soccer Event
October 19 - Come Back To Campus Reception for College of Business, Education & Human Sciences
November 16 - Come Back to Campus Reception for College of Arts & Sciences

We also invite you to submit stories, photos and videos of YOUR journey through LSUS so we can share the good news.

Check out the LSUS Timeline and see if you find something familiar. Let us know if you remember an event or person so we can keep building on the great information we already have.

At the 50th Anniversary Kickoff September 18, we will be revealing the Time Capsule which was buried in 1992 on our 25th Anniversary. Look for more information via email because we want you there!

If you're not receiving alumni emails, please email the Alumni Office with your full name and email address.

You can also help us build a NEW Time Capsule which will be buried at the end of our 50th celebration and opened at our 75th Anniversary in 2042!

Finally, we hope you'll join your Alumni Association. The dues are reasonable and offer you FREE access to the June 1, 2018 Annual Meeting Party (along with other benefits). They help us fund many of the programs and services we provide to LSUS.
