LSUS COVID-19 On-Campus Testing Pod

Testing is available to students, faculty and staff of LSUS with no out-of-pocket expense. Testing in the Pod is not available to the general public. The pod is located in front of the temporary building on the southside of the campus behind the Technology Center, near the base of the “tower.”

Monday, Tuesday & Thursday from 8:00am-4:00pm

To get tested, LSUS students, faculty and staff need to perform the following steps:

  1. Download Relief Telemed app from Apple or Google Play store (scan QR code below to go to the store)
    QR Code
  2. Register for an account using your email address
  3. A unique access code will be emailed to your LSUS email address
  4. Enter the unique access code within the app when requested
  5. Follow prompts and screens to register a visit with a telemedicine provider. You will be asked to provide your health insurance information. The app will reduce any deductibles or copays to zero. If you do not have health insurance you will indicate that when prompted, and you will still be allowed to schedule your test at no cost to you.

  7. Select a time slot to be tested at the pod
  8. Arrive at the pod for testing at designated time and get tested. This will be a saliva test and will take approximately 3-5 minutes.
  9. Your results will be sent to you through a secure portal within 36 to 48 hours after being tested.

There are no eligibility requirements for testing other than being a current LSUS student, faculty or staff member with an active LSUS email address. We encourage those experiencing symptoms or who may be concerned about an exposure to please take advantage of this opportunity.

Please contact Trish Farnsworth-Smith at if you have any questions regarding the testing pod.
