Minor in LEAD

LEAD Undergraduate Minor with LSUS

The Department of Leadership Studies is commited to equipping tomorrow's leaders with the skills and knowledge needed to drive innovation and improve outcomes across a wide variety of industries including government, business, the arts, sciences, non-profits, and community services. The LEAD undergraduate minor serves this focus through the philosophy that it is the role of a leader not only to create a vision for the future of any endeavor, but also to motivate those around them to work passionately towards those ends.

The LEAD minor at Louisiana State University Shreveport provides the unique opportunity for students in any academic discipline to receive leadership training and professional development geared towards equipping them for their future careers after graduation. Its mission is to provide structured, interdisciplinary leadership education and development opportunities through courses, workshops, and experiential learning opportunities.

For additional information on the LEAD minor, please contact Dr. John D. Harrison, Chair, Department of Leadership Studies, at leadershipstudies@lsus.edu.
