Weightlifting Development Center
The Center is located in the Health and Physical
Education Building on the campus of Louisiana
State University in Shreveport. There are 15 platforms available
for training. Biomechanics capabilities available at the Center are V
scope, 3-D video analysis, 2 force plates, Dartfish and frame-by-frame
analysis by I-Mac video.
The Center is open Monday through Thursday from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm
and on Saturday from 10:00 am to Noon. There is no cost but all
participants must be members of USA Weightlifting. All
training sessions
are planned and supervised.
