To bridge the gap between minorities and non-minorities through education and community service. MAPS intends to foster the advancement of underrepresented minorities in medicine. To provide experiences designed to develop the leadership skills of individuals in campus organizations. To provide members with an opportunity to network with undergraduates, medical students, graduate students and professionals connected with the umbrella organizations of the Student National Medical Association(SNMA) and other MAPS chapters. |

1. Enrolled at LSUS as part-time or full time student 2. Minimum of 2.0 overall GPA, not on any disciplinary or scholastic probation 3. Pursuing or interested in medicine or healthcare |

National Dues are $15 a years and Local Dues are $10 a semester or $20 a year |
