The purpose of the organization is to promote the development of professional interest and attitudes among college students preparing for the teaching profession. Membership provides classroom insurance coverage, state and national publications and a discount off post-graduation NEA and LEA dues. Participation in LAESP functions gives preservice teachers the opportunity to interact with LSUS faculty and the Professional Development School faculty, staff, and students. |
