A wide variety of University offices provide effective and efficient services including advising, financial services, counseling, technology, and careers.

  • Student Development and Counseling Center

    • A division of Student Affairs, the Counseling Center emphasizes students' growth and development. The specific aim of counseling services is to structure an environment that elicits positive growth while providing the security necessary for successful maturation.

  • Career Services

    • The Career Services office at LSU Shreveport provides comprehensive career services for currently enrolled students, targeted services for alumni, and specialized services for employers.

  • Pilot Card

    • Make sure to get the Pilot Card prior to making bookstore purchases. The bookstore requires the Pilot Card for most transactions.

  • University Police

    • The LSUS Police Department is a professional police department commissioned by the State of Louisiana.

  • Academic Planning and Advising

    • Academic advising is critical to the attainment of your educational goals, and it is very important that you meet with your advisor often as you progress through the stages of earning a degree.

  • Financial Aid

    • You can reach the Financial Aid Office by calling 318-797-5363. Our office hours are 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. If the phone lines are busy, please leave a message or call back. Your phone call is important and will be returned as promptly as possible.
