India Studies Club at LSUS
PURPOSE: The purpose of the India Studies Club is:
- To serve as a forum for LSU Shreveport students to engage and learn about India and Indian culture
- To promote the growth of the India Studies program at LSUS
- To foster the continued interest in India and the India Studies program
- To provide experiences designed to develop the skills of cross-cultural awareness and communication
- To provide members with an opportunity to learn about and to experience Indian culture
- To serve the university community in the following ways:
- Assist in bringing India Studies events to campus for the benefit of LSUS students and faculty
- Make students aware of courses offered by the India Studies program that can contribute to a well-rounded educational experience.
