Louisiana Association of Educators - Student Program at LSUS

PURPOSE: The purpose of LAE-SP at LSUS is to promote the development of professional interest and attitudes among college students preparing for the teaching profession. Membership provides classroom insurance coverage, state and national publications and a discount off post-graduation NEA and LEA dues. Participation in LAE-SP functions gives pre-service teachers the opportunity to interact with LSUS faculty and the Professional Development School faculty, staff, and students.
