Association of Information and Technology Professionals
PURPOSE:
Provides opportunities for students to develop better understanding of current computing techniques and the role of computer specialists in the business world today; provides opportunities for developing leadership and management skills and interacting with professional members of the computing environment.
ACTIVITIES:
Lectures, presentations, films, computer demonstrations, field trips, panel discussions, parties and picnics, active in Fall Fest and Spring Fling. Also participate in the Leadership Workshop and Programming Contest at Regional AITP Conference.
MEETINGS:
Meeting Time: First Wednesday of every month during Common Hour
Meeting Place: Technology Center, Room 212
MEMBERSHIP REQUIREMENTS:
General interest in computer science and/or management; all majors welcome; 2.0 GPA
