Sigma Phi Iota Sorority at LSUS

                                             Sigma Phi Iota

PURPOSE:

The purpose of Sigma Phi Iota is to serve as a collegiate society for women who work together in promoting the growth of academic excellence and community service by providing experiences designed to develop the skills of life, love, leadership and labor.

Members of Sigma Phi Iota are presented with the opportunity to prosper as productive member of society by serving the University and surrounding community through active campus participation, annual activities and special events, service projects and philanthropic work.

ACTIVITIES:
Annual Activities: Themed parties (Halloween, Christmas, etc.), Socials and Mixers, Officer and Pledge Retreats Student Activities: Spring Fling, Fall Fest, Greek Week, etc. Service Projects: Fundraisers for Shriner's Hospital and other local charities

MEETINGS: Every Sunday during Fall/Spring semesters at 7 p.m. in the UC Red River Room

MEMBERSHIP REQUIREMENTS: Must be a full-time female student at LSUS with a minimum 2.5 overall GPA

NEW MEMBERS: Formal Fall Rush; Informal Spring Rush; Open Bidding Process

DUES: $20/month for active members
