Sigma Phi Iota Sorority at LSUS

PURPOSE: The purpose of Sigma Phi Iota is to serve as a collegiate society for women who work together in promoting the growth of academic excellence and community service by providing experiences designed to develop the skills of life, love, labor and leadership.

Members of Sigma Phi Iota are presented with the opportunity to prosper as productive members of society by serving the University and surrounding community through active campus participation, annual activities and special events, service projects and philanthropic work.

Annual Activities: Themed parties (Halloween, Christmas, etc.), Socials and Mixers, Officer and Pledge Retreats.
Student Activities: Spring Fling, Fall Fest, Greek Week, Annual Formal Dance, etc. Service Projects: Fundraisers for Shriner's Hospital and other local charities.

MEETINGS: Every Sunday during Fall/Spring semesters at 7 p.m.

MEMBERSHIP REQUIREMENTS: Must be a full-time female student at LSUS with a minimum 2.5 overall GPA

NEW MEMBERS: The best opportunity to pledge is during Fall or Spring recruitment

DUES: $25/month for active members
