Sigma Phi Iota Sorority at LSUS

PURPOSE: The purpose of Sigma Phi Iota is to serve as a collegiate society for women who work together in promoting the growth of academic excellence and community service by providing experiences designed to develop the skills of life, love, labor and leadership.

Members of Sigma Phi Iota are presented with the opportunity to prosper as productive members of society by serving the University and surrounding community through active campus participation, annual activities and special events, service projects and philanthropic work.

Annual Activities: Retreat, Spring Semi-Formal, Themed parties (Halloween, Christmas, etc.), Socials and Mixers, Student Appreciation Events like King Cake Passout, Thanksgiving Pie w/SPI, etc. Study Blitz, Scantron Passouts, etc.

MEETINGS: Every Sunday during Fall/Spring semesters at 6 p.m. in the UC

MEMBERSHIP REQUIREMENTS: Must be a full-time female student at LSUS with a minimum 2.5 overall GPA.

NEW MEMBERS: Fall & Spring

DUES: $25/month for active members
