Sigma Phi Iota Sorority at LSUS

                                             Big sis lil sis

PURPOSE: The purpose of Sigma Phi Iota is to serve as a forum for women who wish to work together in promoting the growth of academic excellence and fostering the continued interest in philanthropic ideals by providing experiences designed to develop the skills of leadership and labor; and to provide Sisters with an opportunity to prosper as productive members of society by serving the University and surrounding community through active campus participation, annual activities and special events, service projects and volunteer work.

ACTIVITIES:
Annual Activities: Themed parties (Halloween, Christmas, etc.), Socials and Mixers, Officer and Pledge Retreats Student Activities: Spring Fling, Fall Fest, Greek Week, etc.
Service Projects: Fundraisers for the Veronica Hope Foundation

MEETINGS: Meeting Time: Fridays and Sundays during Fall/Spring semesters at 11 am and 7 pm Meeting Place: Business and Education Building, and the University Center

MEMBERSHIP REQUIREMENTS: Must be a full-time female student at LSUS with a minimum 2.75 overall GPA

NEW MEMBERS: Open bidding process 

DUES: $10.00/month for active members
