Phi Mu Fraternity at LSUS
PURPOSE: "Vibrant - Phi Mu Fraternity is a vibrant values-based women's organization. Our purpose is found in the principles of love, honor, and truth. We pursue the interests and purpose of women on collegiate campuses and in our communities. The promise of our mutual efforts is a lifetime of sisterhood. Service Projects: Car wash fundraisers for Children's Miracle Network, participation in local car club shows, Phi Mu Fever, Hoop-A-Palooza, Dance Marathon and Kickball tournaments to raise money for Children's Miracle Network Hospitals, great strides walk, holy angels run.
Annual Parties: Themed mixers and socials, crawfish boil, bid day party, Christmas party
Other Activities: Badge attire and jersey days; Fall Fest and Spring Fling; Greek Week; Pledge Retreat; Sisterhood Retreat; Big/lil week and trip; Pearl, Ladybug, Lion, Creed and inspiration sis; parent luncheon
Meeting Time: Every Sunday during regular semesters at 4 p.m.
Meeting Place: University Center Caddo Bossier Room
MEMBERSHIP REQUIREMENTS: Must be a woman enrolled for at least 12 hours at LSUS and have a minimum 2.7 GPA.
NEW MEMBERS: The best opportunity to pledge a sorority is during Fall or Spring recruitment.
DUES: $50.00/month for active members
