Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority at LSUS

PURPOSE: The purpose of the Tau Epsilon Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority is to cultivate and encourage high scholastic and ethical standards, to promote unity and friendship among college women, to study and alleviate problems concerning girls and women in order to improve their social stature, to maintain a progressive interest in college life, and to be of service to all mankind.
ACTIVITIES: Emerging Young Leaders, Read-ins with Reading is Fundamental, Health Awareness, "Go Green" programs, Volunteering at Providence House, Financial Fitness, Canned Food Drive, Relay For Life Walk, AKA Week on Campus, Voter Registration Days, MLK Day of Service, Domestic Violence Awareness

2.5 semester and cumulative average, full-time LSUS student both current and previous semesters, must attend Rush with completed application packet
