Academic and Professional Clubs

Math and Physics Club at LSUS

PURPOSE: To gather those interested in mathematics in a social setting. To have students involved in research and problem-solving. To have students involved in mathematics locally, regionally and nationally. To promote University and public awareness of the power, utility and beauty of mathematics. To promote interdisciplinary experiences and cooperation among the various University colleges, departments and disciplines. To provide mathematical service to students, faculty and the community. To have fun!

ACTIVITIES: Going to conferences, participating in Fall Fest and Spring Fling, talking about Math & Physics 

MEETINGS:
Meeting Time: Every other Wednesday at 11 a.m. (Common Hour)
Meeting Place: BH 405

MEMBERSHIP REQUIREMENTS: Open to all LSUS students interested in mathematics and/or physics.

NEW MEMBERS: Anytime

DUES: $3 a semester
