This year marks my 20th year teaching at the university level. I find it extremely rewarding to work with students interested in learning about physics and electronics. My teaching ranges from basic physics and physical science to advanced electronics taught in the Department of Chemistry-Physics.

Although my past research has taken me in several directions both in engineering and computer science, my current interest is in robotic platforms both terrestrial as well as aerial. Over the last several years I have received numerous grants allowing me to involve students in these research areas. I have also managed grants obtained by other faculty promoting student involvement.

Grants that I have had funded have allowed LSUS to build an environment where there are few limitations on our ability to design and construct complex systems. This in-house ability has proven, and should continue to prove valuable in achieving student as well as personal goals in teaching and research.
