LSUS Small Business Development Center

The Small Business Development Center is located on the campus of Louisiana State University in Shreveport. We are in the Business Administration/Education building on the first floor, in Room 103.

When you arive at the Center, be sure not to park in an area that has a painted curb, as these spaces are designated for faculty only. Enter the BE building through the right hand set of doors, that is, on the end that reads "Business". We are located in the first room on the left.

The campus of LSUS is located in south Shreveport on Youree Drive, just south of the intersection with Bert Kouns Industrial Loop. Follow this link to a map to the campus. Some general directions to the campus are as follows.

If convenient to take Interstate 49 South from the Shreveport vicinity or Interstate 49 North from south of the city limits, exit onto the Inner Loop East. You will then come to a junction with Bert Kouns Industrial Loop at a traffic light. Take a LEFT at the light, that is, East Bert Kouns Industrial Loop. You will then go THROUGH four more traffic lights and AT the fifth, turn RIGHT onto Youree Drive. At this intersection is a large six story hospital, the Willis Knighton building, on one corner, and on the other corner is Wal-Mart Supercenter. After you turn right onto Youree Drive, proceed to the next traffic light and turn LEFT onto the LSUS campus. Once you turn onto campus, you will want to turn to the LEFT, that is, along the north side of campus. The BE building will be the third building on the right. You will first pass the Noel Memorial Library and then Bronson Hall. There is a sign by the drive in front of the BE building which will read Business Administration/Education in large letters, as well as Small Business Development Center below this in smaller letters.

If convenient to take Youree Drive South from the Shreveport vicinity, continue until you reach the intersection with Bert Kouns Industrial Loop. At this intersection is a large six story hospital, the Willis Knighton building, on one corner, and on the other corner is Wal-Mart Supercenter. Proceed THROUGH this intersection, still on Youree Drive, until you reach the next traffic light, at which you will turn LEFT onto the LSUS campus.
