Headwaters

Floodplains
A floodplain is the land near a stream that is inundated during floods. A floodplain is made by stream erosion and deposition.

What is a Watershed Approach?
The watershed approach is the development and implementation of management techniques for a geographic area that drains into surface water or that recharges ground water, using cooperative partnerships to accomplish location specific goals.
