The mission of Purchasing is to develop and implement sound procurement practices and to monitor and facilitate the management of the University's moveable equipment inventory in accordance with executive policy and legislative mandates, and to provide quality and timely services to the University and vendor communities.

Purchasing Policy is based on procedures established by the State of Louisiana and on Rules and Regulations publicized by the Commissioner of Administration.

The Purchasing office operates under the Office of the Vice Chancellor for Business Affairs.

Hours of Operation: 8:00 am – 4:30 pm (M-F)
