SOX to Perform in Black Box Theatre

Members of the Shreveport Opera Xpress (SOX) will perform in a concert Monday, November 9, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. in the Black Box Theatre, Bronson Hall Room 111, at LSU Shreveport. The singers will preview "Amahl and the Night Visitors," which will be presented in its entirety on December 5, 2009 at the Riverview Theater in Shreveport, La. The SOX singers will also perform songs from other operas.
The concert, which is free and open to the public, is sponsored by the James Smith Noel Collection at the Noel Memorial Library at LSUS. SOX, the touring arm of Shreveport Opera, was established in 2000.
