India Studies Program to Host Cricket Match

The India Studies Program at LSU Shreveport will host an exhibition cricket match November 14, 2009, from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. on the LSUS campus in the field behind the tennis courts.
The event is intended to familiarize area residents with the second most popular game in the world. The game is particularly popular in India, England, Australia, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, West Indies, South Africa and New Zealand. The exhibition will be played by members of the local Shreveport/Bossier communities who are natives of these countries.
