LSU Shreveport will host a symposium, "Mobility in Education," on Wednesday, October 28, 2009 from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. in the Science Lecture Auditorium on the LSUS campus.
Dr. Barry Adams, a member of Apple's education division since 1987, will discuss learning environments where students and faculty have access to hyper-mobile digital learning devices downloaded with lessons, instructional videos, audio programs and more. The lecture is free and open to the public.
Barry Adams, Ed.D. has worked in Apple's education division since 1987. A former dean of two colleges, he has served on the faculties of several universities and colleges in Iowa, North Carolina and Georgia. He is also the author of two books on future education trends in education.
