ALERT TO SUSPICIOUS ACTIVITY

An incident occurred around 3:15pm, Tuesday afternoon, on the LSUS Campus that is cause for concern. I feel the campus will be better protected if everyone is informed of the facts and circumstances of the incident.
FOLLOW UP:
Please be advised that the University Police spotted the individuals referenced in the most resent alert. The individuals were non students and had no purpose for being on the campus. One individual was issued a citation for expired driver’s license and all subjects were banned from the campus. Anyone seeing this vehicle on campus again, please alert the University Police.

Important Tornado Drill Information

The Caddo-Bossier Office of Emergency Preparedness (OEP) will coordinate the Spring Tornado Drill on WEDNESDAY, MARCH 9, 2005, between 9:00 and 9:30 a.m.. The earlier time frame will allow for more participation. The drill is held in conjunction with “SEVERE WEATHER AWARENESS WEEK”.

Campus Alert: Vehicle Break-ins

In recent weeks, numerous vehicle break-ins have been reported to the Shreveport Police Department in southeast Shreveport. Many of the break-ins were reported in the immediate area surrounding LSUS. Unfortunately, LSUS has experienced five separate vehicle burglaries where students and one faculty member suffered a loss of property and damages to their vehicles.
