Find a Job or an Internship Posting. Jobs and internships can be found in many places and through various means. Do not limit yourself to looking online, but it is a great resource. Many jobs and internships are never posted and travel by word of mouth. This is where your network comes in! Make sure to let your friends and family know what you are looking for so they can help!

When looking online remember to visit our site Career Pilot  for local and out-of-state full-time and part-time jobs and internships. Online job boards can also be helpful such as glassdoor.com, internships.com,  indeed.com, careerjet.com, simplyhired.com, and laworks.net.

Prepare for the interview. Preparation is key to having a successful interview! You must do your homework! We can assist you in this process. We offer mock interviews, one-on-one appointments, and many online resources. Please contact our office to schedule an appointment or mock interview. Visit the Resource Library in Career Pilot and our Pinterest page for tips, guidelines, attire help, and practice interview questions. (Log in to Career Pilot, click "Resource Library" on left hand side of screen, open Professional Image folder, click on document to open.)

Events are another great resource for job and internship searching. Make sure to attend all Career Services Career Fairs and events with employers. Check out our calendar for those dates. Come prepared with a resume and dressed to impress.

Remember that job searching takes a lot of time and patience. Don't give up!
