Personal Concerns
"What lies behind us and what lies before us
are tiny matters compared to what lies within us."
~Ralph Waldo Emerson
Everyone will experience difficult periods over their lifetime; it is part of the process. College can be especially stressful as students are confronted with new responsibilities, life choices, and commitments. During these times, it is not a weakness to ask for assistance. Rather, coping with these difficulties is often made easier when you seek out information or share your concerns with others.
Any student with questions or who is experiencing difficulties is encouraged to make an appointment with a counselor at the Student Development & Counseling Center (ADM 220; 797-5365). In addition, the Counseling staff has developed these virtual brochures to provide further information and assist students in better understanding any difficulties they may be experiencing. Check back often for additional information.
