Student Development and Counseling Center
Comprehensive counseling and referral services, peer mentoring for first-time freshmen, coordination of services for students with disabilities, and campus outreach programming are provided through the Student Development and Counseling Center, AD 220, 318-797-5365. The counselor's approach is to prevent issues in the student's life from becoming problems that interfere with their academic progress. Students are encouraged to use these services whenever they are encountering personal or relationship difficulties, struggling academically, need educational information or when they are trying to make career decisions. Assistance is provided through individual appointments, group counseling, educational workshops, seminars and self-help information. All services are free to LSUS students.
