"It's What You Make It, A Celebration of Life" Exhibit at the Library
The Noel Memorial Library is hosting "It's What You Make it, A Celebration of Life" through the end of the month. The exhibit was produced by former Shreveport pathologist Bennett Sewell and features stories and photographs from 24 different people, all over the age of 75.

As a way to bring people together in celebration of life; the exhibit displays the wisdom of its participants, who have a wide variety of backgrounds and experiences, and shares the lessons they've learned. "We wanted to feature this project at Noel Memorial Library because it shows the world through the perception of people who have experienced so much in their 75 or more years. The community has the invaluable opportunity to see the struggles and successes of 24 unique individuals through the eyes of the person who actually lived them," said Dr. Alan Gabehart, Dean of Noel Memorial Library.

The exhibit is open to the public, and runs weekdays from 8:00-4:30 from February 17-February 28 in the Assembly Room of the Noel Memorial Library.
