Early Alert Referral System

"There is no greater joy nor greater reward than to make a fundamental difference in someone's life"
-Sister Mary Rose McGeady

The Early Alert Referral System (EARS) form serves a vital purpose in the greater plan to create a campus culture of caring here at LSUS. Instructors have the privelage of getting to know their students in the classroom, and have an understanding of each student's unique needs. By taking the time to complete the EARS form, instructors are making an important contribution to their student's academic success and even future career. As soon as the student development center recieves a referral a plan of action is initiated that may include one on one consultation with the student, study skills support, or  personal counseling. LSUS continues to strive for increased interconecteness among departments and we aim to collaborate our services in order to bring about better outcomes for our students. If you are aware of a student who needs referring to the Student Development Center for any reasons outlined in the form please complete it and submit to our offices as soon as possible. Thank you for your time and cooperation.
