The Journal of Ideology

The Journal of Ideology (formerly, the Quarterly Journal of Ideology) is an interdisciplinary peer-reviewed publication intended for those interested in ideological issues in all areas of scholarly inquiry including, but not limited to, sociology, economics, philosophy, history, political science, literature, theology, journalism, anthropology, and the sciences. As such, one of the primary goals of JI is to provide a forum that encourages scholars to critique conventional wisdom within the areas of their expertise and to propose new theoretical frameworks that increase understanding of phenomena in those areas.

JI is affiliated with the Institute for Human Services and Public Policy at LSU Shreveport and has been published online since 2001. Articles which appear in JI reflect the opinions of the authors and not necessarily those of the editors.
