Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems (CAHPS)
The IHSPP is an approved vendor for the Hospital Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems (HCAHPS) survey and the Home Health CAHPS (or HHCAHPS) survey.
Our services in providing the HCAHPS survey to individual hospitals include obtaining discharge information, collecting survey data, and uploading data to the Quality Net Exchange website. Hospitals should participate in the HCAHPS survey in order to receive their 2% Medicare reimbursement. HCAHPS requires hospitals to report at least 300 completed surveys annually. Small hospitals should sample all eligible discharges and complete as many surveys as possible. The Home Health CAHPS survey operates under similar CMS regulations.Additional Information
