Certification Requirements
Certification
Students seeking certification must register through the Nonprofit Leadership Alliance and submit a registration form to ihspp@lsus.edu.
Undergraduate Requirements
- Completion of nonprofit competency requirements through 7 required courses and selected seminar work meeting the needs of the nonprofit sector.
- 300 or more hours of internships.
- Attendance of at least one annual Alliance Management/Leadership Institute (AMI).
- Completion of a baccalaureate degree.
Graduate Requirements
- Completion of nonprofit competency requirements through the Master of Science in Nonprofit Administration program.
- Attendance of at least one annual Alliance Management/Leadership Institute (AMI).
- Completion of master's degree.
AmeriCorps NCCC
- Completion of nonprofit competency requirements through AmeriCorps NCCC experience.
- Application and acceptance in the Master of Science in Nonprofit Administration program.
- SOCL 392 and 492 for undergraduate students.
- HSA 702 and 708 for graduate students.
- Attendance of at least one annual Alliance Management/Leadership Institute (AMI).
